Swedish folk music and jazz singer, also a composer and teacher, born April 23, 1961.

Gunnel Mauritzson grew up in a musical family in Gotland and sang in the folk group Gunnfjaun's Chapel 1985-99. She is educated at the Royal College of Music in Stockholm and is a lecturer in folk song at the Royal College of Music and the Inge Music School.
