Austrian artist, born 1942 in Vienna, studied design, was a member of the postmodernist ’Wiener Gruppe’ (Achleitner, Bayer, Rühm) and the ’Aktionisten’ (Brus, Mühl, Nitsch), moved to Berlin in 1970 with Oswald Wiener, continued various activites around the artists’ bars ’Matala’, ’Exil’ and ’Ax Bax’. Works include photography, drawings, performances (music, cooking), experimental movies, documentations. Now lives in Dawson City, Canada and in Vienna.
