Died: February 2016 (age of 95) in Boynton Beach, Florida.
He played from the mid-1940s with Ella Fitzgerald and in1947 with the Mills Blue Rhythm Band. He played on many records as a session player including on such great recordings as The Chordettes version of Mr. Sandman, Del Shannon's Runaway, and Frank Sinatra's The World We Knew (Over and Over) and This Town.
