Guitarist and songwriter, originally from Albuquerque, New Mexico. After moving to Texas, King played with bands in San Antonio and Austin. He relocated to Los Angeles in the mid 1980's, and then to Nashville. Tennessee in 1991, where he focused on songwriting. King returned to Texas in 2005, building his own studio Hardscrabble Recording Studio in Wimberley.
