German bassist and vocalist in the Krautrock era, born February 13, 1950 in Hamburg.
After playing bass in a cover band, Schünzel co-founded famous Krautrock band Novalis in 1971 and became one of the first artists performin Rock in German language. He performed with the band on several albums and left the band in late 1980. Eventually, he continued his primary job as advertising merchant.
