German political scientist and granddaughter of German automotive pioneer August Horch. Married to German politician Rainer Barzel, born January 4th, 1940, died on December 15th, 1995 in a car accident.
From 1984 to 1995, she was head of the German charity organization Deutsche Welthungerhilfe. In this role, she appeared on records mainly with sleeve note contributions, emphasizing the charity aspect on sale of the respective records.
