BASS PLAYER

Son of Melvin and Bertha Brannon. Born: July 6, 1962, Seattle, Washington, United States.

Studied music at Mt. Hood Community College in Gresham. Apart from playing the classic E-Bass Melvin also plays contrabass (a.k.a. double bass)

Founding member and arguably best known for his bass playing with the Dan Reed Network. Melvin also played on several albums of Stevie Salas and he played in the live bands of Edgar Winter and Booker T. Jones (as M-Cat Spoony).
