British classical violist, music director, and conductor. Born 10 June 1981 in London, England.
He started out on the piano, saxophone and violin, but became enamoured of the viola at seventeen years of age. He joined the
National Youth Orchestra Of Great Britain as a violist. He attended the [l680970] and graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in 2003 and a post-graduate degree in 2004. He was a member of the
Southbank Sinfonia from 2004 to 2005 and then joined the
Philharmonia Orchestra of London. Founder and Principal Conductor of the
Paradisal Players in 2011. Another group to which Samuel is integral is
The Elena Trio.
He is married to the Slovenian pianist
Ana Šinkovec.
