American backing vocalist. Born 9 January 1948 in Seneca, Missouri, USA, died in a plane crash on 20 October 1977 in Gillsburg, Mississippi, USA, together with her brother Steve Gaines, Ronnie Van Zant, road manager Dean Kilpatrick and both pilots.
She was a member of The Honkettes who performed with Lynyrd Skynyrd as backing vocalists.
