Swedish musicologist and folk musician from Dalarna, born July 19, 1955 in Helga Trefaldighets parish in Uppsala.

He has a fil. mag. in musicology and a degree in musicology. He is active at the University of Dalarna, where he teaches sound and music creation for moving images. He plays mandora, lute, moraoud, hurdy-gurdy, accordion and hummel.
Known by his middle name, Totte was an early member of the seminal Swedish folk group Groupa. He is founding member of Hedningarna, and also a member of the trio Boot.
