Died: November 14, 2023 of cancer in Los Angeles, California.
A graduate of UCLA and based in Los Angeles, Neville was best known for creating the artwork for many Bob Marley album covers, and designed the backdrops for the Reggae Sunsplash festival for much of the 1980s.
Garrick was also a founder and executive director of the Bob Marley Museum.
On August 6, 2023 in recognition of his contribution to music, art and culture locally and internationally, he was awarded the Jamaican Order of Distinction in the Rank of Commander (CD).
