Bassist and vocalist from Finland.
His first release was with
Cat & Mouse in 1975 with Tote Hatakka. The band extended with two extra musicians and called themselves
Waltari.
Later in 1998 Kärtsy Hatakka and Tote Hatakka released a second album under the name
Cat & Mouse.
He released two singles under the name
K2.
Together with
Kimmo Kajasto he wrote the awarded soundtrack to the computer games Max Payne and Max Payne 2.
In 2007 he started a new approach of a solo career called Kärtsy Band with a single in January 2010 and an album scheduled for August.
In 2022 he celebrated his debut album with his new project
Head First.
