Swedish rhythm guitarist in the progressive extreme metal band Meshuggah, born April 27, 1971 in Örnsköldsvik.

He joined Meshuggah after the release of the band's first album, allowing Jens Kidman to give up playing rhythm guitar and focus on his duties as a vocalist. He and Meshuggah's other guitarist, Fredrik Thordendal, are known for their complex rhythm guitar playing.

Although Thordendal plays most of Meshuggah's guitar solos, the two guitarists share songwriting duties more or less equally. With the release of Meshuggah's obZen album, Hagström has started playing the slow, melodic guitar solos on songs he has written himself.
