M Group (or MG) is a French rap group from Deuil la Barre (Val d'Oise) and created in 1992. The group is made up of R.K.O, Part 2 Djaka, Hakeem (future Tunisiano) and Dj Pass. Following various models and radio freestyle, the group found itself on the Kool and Radikal label (also famous for its store and its vinyl and hiphop mixtape distribution network). The group released the vinyl Fidèle au rap in 1996, which received a good reception from the underground public. The following year, the group published their first maxi What were you saying? We find on the project, the title I come from 9.5.1.7.0 with the presence of Aketo, Blacko and Philo. This maxi makes the group known nationally. Subsequently, Tunisiano left the group to join the Comité de Deuil collective, in which Blacko and Aketo were notably present. This collective was the birth of the Sniper group.

In 1998, the group released a second maxi Rapide comme un serpent (2nd bite); we find there Freko Ding and Cyanure from the group ATK. The following year, the Kool and Radikal label released a compilation where we find the presence of the group.

In 2000, the group released the vinyl Graine de Star. The following year, the group began by publishing the vinyl Too much to say / Success; before the release of their second maxi The music drives me crazy! The vinyl D.A.N.G.E.R / Minus 20 degrees will be taken from this maxi.

Subsequently, the group renamed itself MG (Mon Groupe / Ma Gueule) and in 2004 only released the 2-track maxi vinyl, On fait tout saut. Subsequently, the two remaining members separated to devote themselves to their solo careers. Djaka (Baptiste Carpentier) released the album Ragga hiphop story in 2007; on which we find Kool Shen, Jeff Le Nerf, Serum, T Krys, Banneur, Norris Man,… For his part R.K.O participated in the Bass Vegas paranoid project released in 2008.
