American rock group centered in Clovies, New Mexico.
The group consisted of Norman Petty and his wife Vi Petty (piano) and Jack Vaughn (guitar) with lead vocals by Vi's cousin Georgiana Veit.
The Norman Petty Trio became the Norman Petty Ensemble with the addition of Georgina. When Georginia left to pursue marriage and the quiet life, the Ensemble went back to Norman Petty Trio, with Vi taking over singing lead vocals.
