Greek operatic tenor, born in Thessaloniki, 1919.
Singing studies with A. Belliel in Paris. In 1949: debut at the Leipzig Opera House as Cavaradossi in »Tosca«, he remained engaged there until 1952. In 1952-53 he sang at the Braunschweig State Theater and in 1953 he was engaged at the Cologne Opera House, until 1956. Guest performances took him to the state operas in Berlin, Dresden and Vienna performing toles from the Italian repertoire and also operetta. In the years 1961-63 he worked at the Schleswig-Holsteinisches Landestheater in Rendsburg, a traveling theater.
