Two years later, he was appointed Principal Flute with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, and subsequently with the London Philharmonic Orchestra and the Philharmonia Orchestra. He also was Principal Flute with The London Chamber Orchestra for many years, The London Metropolitan Orchestra, and the BBC National Orchestra Of Wales. As a flute professor, he has served on the faculty of the Royal College Of Music, London and the London College Of Music.
