New Zealand-born, Australian-based jazz/folk/roots/soul/RnB/blues singer-songwriter, guitarist and drummer.

Smith joined her first band at age 14 in Dunedin, then performed and toured in a number of New Zealand-based bands, before moving to Australia in 1975. In addition to her solo career, she has played and sung in a number of Australian bands (including Ride Band and Hip Pocket), sung backing vocals for a variety of well-known Australian artists, undertaken session work at [l269552] and [l1786827], and taught voice and drums at a private school in Victoria.
