Roman Lebedev (b. 11 Aug 1966) is a Russian virtuoso guitarist, experimental and computer musician, sound designer, and underground producer. From 1984 to 1995, he was best known as
Kostyl (
crutch in Russian), solo guitarist of controversial and notorious extreme metal band
Korrozia Metalla. Subsequently, Lebedev became one of the leading figures on the post-Soviet underground experimental scene, co-founding ethnic/electronica band
Volga in 1997, recording and performing solo electronic music as
Idioritmik, and actively collaborating with various acts, including
Alien Pat. Holman,
Notchnoi Prospekt, and many others.
