Born 12. January 1953
Micky is a highly experienced drummer / percussionist who has worked with the likes of Ric Sanders (Second Vision, Fairport Convention), Pyewackett, Andrew Cronshaw (The Great Dark Water) before becoming Yamaha session drummer for many years. He then achieved national and international success with Midland rockers Magnum, including several top 20 singles and albums. Also, he has worked with The Steve Gibbons Band, Trevor Burton of The Move and The Bushburys. He is a member of 'Memphis In The Meantime' band.

He joined Magnum when they made their On A Storytellers Night album in 1985 - while the drummer that played on the album was still Jim Simpson, Mickey Barker replaced him when the album was released. Left them in 1995 after their farewell tour when the band split. Afterwards he played in the short lived band The Holograms and released one album with them.
