Maurel & Fauvrelle are undoubtedly the greatest revelation of Portuguese dance music since U.S.L. (Underground Sound of Lisbon aka Rui da Silva & DJ Vibe).

The two producers, with their hits rising through the world charts and counting on with the support of some of the prestigious names of dance music, as a duo they managed to pass from mere unknown to famous performers of gloomy, uncontrolled, tricked, tribal and contagious House Music made in Portugal.

Being two of the four members of the 4Toasters project, Maurel & Fauvrelle were spotted by Subliminal/Sondos head Erick Morillo, and a three track deal was offered to the duo.

Invitations for remixes started to became a habit, and the duo has signed remixes for Steve Lawler’s Harlem label, Distraekt, Skint/Loaded, Twisted, Tao, Kaos and their own label Lajja Recordings.

They have the support of all the major community, and are one of Tom Stephan aka Superchumbo favourite production/remixing teams.

Now… between new projects and new remixes, they run Lajja Recordings, and have to put up with a management that is always asking for more… but for the Maurel & Fauvrelle, more it’s all that is expected… more and better!
