As a veteran of the local punk scene in Lodi, New Jersey, Manny met Glenn Danzig and started rehearsing with him in his project, The Misfits. After a few rehearsals, Manny completed the band's lineup by introducing Danzig to his friend Jerry Only. Manny's jazzy style of drum playing was recorded only on the first 7 single, Cough/Cool b./w. She. By the end of 1977, and after only a few live shows, Manny left the band.

Died December 2023 at age 69.
