Male vocal duet, consisting of Frank Wright and Frank Bessinger; the latter also accompanied the duo on piano.
As Radio Franks the duo had a weekly show on New York's WMCA radio, sponsored by the Finkenburg Furniture Co. Between 1924 and 1928, they released records on Brunswick, Cameo (3), Columbia, Edison, Pathé Actuelle, Perfect, Vocalion, and others. In 1926, they also appeared in a short film for DeForrest Phonofilm. Jerome Jerry White [a.k.a. William Robyn] replaced Frank Wright in 1928.
On February 5, 1938, Frank Bessinger and Jerry White opened a bar called Radio Franks on 70 E 55th Street in New York, which, despite a fire on the premises in 1944, stayed in business until at least 1949.
