Finnish-Swedish cellist, born on 15 April 1969.

She studied in Helsinki for professor Martti Rousi and in Stockholm for professor Frans Helmerson.

She combines her position as solo cellist at the Royal Opera with extensive involvement in both national and international chamber music.

As a member of the string trio ZilliacusPerssonRaitinen, she has won several Swedish Grammis awards. They have also received the Royal Academy of Music’s Grand Interpreter Award.
