Nicolas Joel (or Joël) was a French director and opera theatre administrator. He was director of the Theatre du Capitole in Toulouse from 1990 to 2009 and director of the Paris National Opera from 2009 to 2014.
He was born 6 February 1953 in Paris, and died 18 June 2020.
