Tim Rossi started making inroads in the Southern rock music scene when he joined and began touring nationally with The Jimmie Van Zant Band and with Black Oak Arkansas. Rickey Rick Medlocke of Lynyrd Skynyrd and founding member of Blackfoot tapped Tim to be a part of the modern incarnation of Blackfoot. After touring this new version of Blackfoot extensively in the States and the U.K., they released their Southern Native CD on Loud and Proud Records, featuring Tim on guitar and vocals. Tim is known as a versatile and expressive guitar player and songwriter, as well as a charismatic live entertainer, whose wild stage antics are as popular as his blistering guitar licks.
