Musician, vocalist and songwriter, originally from New York City. Butcher studied music theory at Five Tones Music College in Long Island and in the mid-1980s played with hardcore bands including Ludichrist. In early 1993, he formed alternative rock / punk band UFOFU and relocated to Dallas, Texas. He has remained in Dallas, playing guitar and pedal steel with various indie rock and alt country bands.
