He has written very different hits from his Aguaviva times to La copa de la vida (Ricky Martin), Saca el wisky cheli (Desmadre 75), Que pasa contigo, tío (Los Golfos), Fiesta (Raffaella Carrá), Linda (Miguel Bose), Juntos (Paloma San Basilio), Fotonovela (Iván), Galilea (Sergio Dalma) and, of course, Hay que lavalo (La Charanga Del Tio Honorio). He was engaged to Cecilia.
In the 70s he tried a singer-songwriter career as Simone. He adapted many lyrics from international hits to the Spanish.

He founded [l183666] label with his wife Miluca Sanz in the first 80's.
