American multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, producer, arranger, & engineer, born in San Diego, California. Marcel East is the brother of Nathan East and bassist James East. This producer, songwriter and self-proclaimed multi-instrumentalist have worked with several big names in the music industry, including Earth, Wind and Fire, Luis Miguel, Chaka Kahn, Fourplay, Huey Lewis, David Benoit, Bob James, Quincy Jones, Ivan Lins, Stevie Wonder, Al Jarreau, Wayne Shorter, Chris Botti, Kevyn Lettau, David Sanborn, etc.

In 2000, he and CEO Patrick Q formed Alliance Records Inc. Their core ambitions revolve around music collaborations, production, publishing, and new artist talent development. Marcel has worked international artists in studios in Los Angeles, Atlanta, Nashville, New York, Tokyo, Paris, London, Cannes, Copenhagen, Barcelona, Geneva, & Okinawa.
