Randy Rose is a character portrayed by the mysterious singing member of [A=The Residents], created for their ’Randy, Chuck & Bob’ trilogy of live shows lasting from 2010 and 2016, Talking Light (2010 - 2011), [M=683183] (2013) & [M=964388] (2014 - 2016).

Inspired by a 2010 one off Residents performance, [R=3089773], Rose began to perform solo, creating a show of pop covers entitled ’Sam’s Enchanted Evening’, which he would perform from 2011 to 2012.

Following this Randy began to star in a number of social media vlogs produced by The Residents, the 2013 11 part series ’In My Room’ & the 2014 - 2016 44 part series ’Randyland’
In 2016, Randy released his first solo record, a single entitled ’Bigfoot Beware’, released to coincide with the Randyland arc surrounding Bigfoot.

The character was officially retired from stage performances in March of 2017, in favor of the more mysterious persona of ’Tyrone’ designed for the 2017 - 2019 ’[M=1567269]’ show.
Randy last appeared in a vlog supporting the ’[R=15862270]’ fundraiser where Randy, now going as Randy Warthog, sells his reworkings of famous paintings with warthogs over the face, a reference to The Residents’ 1994 song ’The Sold Out Artist’. The character has seemed to have since been retired.
In 2020 [l3303] released Randy’s first album outside of The Residents, a 2010 live recording of a one off performance with Už Jsme Doma
