This group is not connected to the many records issued as The Cotton Pickers on Brunswick. This group is actually the Andy Mansfield Orchestra and only one session was made for Gennett Records in Richmond, Ind. on Feb. 9, 1928. At this time The Cotton Pickers name was not in use as the last records under that name on Brunswick had been released about two years ago in early 1926 (although there were several further sessions using The Cotton Pickers name made by Brunswick in 1929)
