Guitarist, producer, arranger

He was Van Morrison’s guitarist and musical director between 1998 and 2001. He recorded with Tom Jones, Bobby Bland, Eddi Reader and Nick Lowe. He has recorded 300 television sessions for artists such as Kris Kristofferson, Nanci Griffith, John Prine, Chip Taylor, Tony Joe White, Paul Carrick, Curtis Stigers, Steve Harley, Kirsty MacColl, Ian Dury, The Kinks, Leo Sayer, Neil Sedaka and Johnny Mathis. Other experience includes playing in various theatre productions, orchestral performances with the RTE National Symphony and Ulster Orchestras and composing music for three documentaries for Channel 4 and short film.

He plays dobro, steel guitar and mandolin also.
