Swedish music director and conductor, born 17 December 1917 in Finspång, died 26 July 2000.
Studied at the Royal Swedish Academy of Music 1947-1952, chief conductor of Sandvikens orkesterförening since 1957.
He graduated from Kalmar in 1937 and a higher music teacher's degree from the Royal Academy of Music in 1942. He became a music teacher at the Falkenberg secondary school in 1943, municipal music director in Nyköping in 1948, and a music teacher at the higher general education institution in Sandviken from 1955. He was first union conductor in Gävleborgs läns sångarförbund and conductor in Sandvikens orkesterförening/Sandvikens symfoniorkester from 1957–1984.
He was awarded the Order of Merit of the National Federation of Orchestral Associations of Sweden, the Gävleborg County Singers' Association and the Norrland Singers' Association.
