Singer/songwriter from Miami, Florida, USA. Discovered by a local DJ while singing in a restaurant and was signed to Elektra/Asylum Records shortly thereafter.

Wrote & performed the song He's A Dream for the 1983 film Flashdance, and has since composed original music for many movies and TV shows.
