Australian producer/engineer and musician. He began working at
Col Joye's ATA Studios in 1977, under the wing of
Duncan McGuire, before moving two years later to
Billy Field's Paradise Studios (2) where he worked with
Richard Lush. From 1981 to 1991 he freelanced at Albert Studios, ATA Studios, Earth Media Studios, EMI Studios 301, Festival Studios, Paradise Studios (2), Rhinoceros Studios, Sun Studios, Sydney, Trafalgar Studios and United Sound Studios, Sydney. From 1992, Cafe added theatre and television sound to record production. He currently works for the Australian Broadcasting Corporation at the ABC Studios Ultimo and maintains a private recording facility.
