American guitarist from New York. He is known for his work with the hardcore / crossover thrash band Leeway from the late 1980s until 1992. He also joined Leeway for a tour in 2006. After leaving Leeway in the early 1990s, Gibbons formed progressive metal band SP111 and played with tribute bands Black Ice and Drunken Ozzys. He died December 27th, 2023.
