UK drummer. After leaving school at 16, Tom gigged in his home city of Birmingham. By 20, he was playing on the Mecca circuit with the Johnny Howard Band. At 21, Tom turned pro, moved to London and became a session musician. His credits include 3 number-one hits with Brotherhood of Man, including 'Save Your Kisses For Me', a world tour with Petula Clark, Mike Batt's album 'The Hunting of the Snark' and the film Little Shop of Horrors. In 1985 – a year and a half into Starlight Express's West End run – Tom took over from Peter Van Hook, staying for the rest of the show's run. He is now retired and teaches drums.
