Icelandic producer and recording/editing/mixing engineer.

Mio commenced his training in the studio arts back in 1999, when he began working at Greenhouse Studios in the suburbs of Reykjavik under the mentorship of his older brother Valgeir Sigurðsson. In 2006, he also became involved with the independent label The [l76509] and his role expanded to include project and product management, overseeing album artwork and production.

Mio currently runs Masterkey Studios with his partner Marketa Irglova, and is dedicated to producing, recording, editing and mixing albums, but also enjoys touring as a front-of-house engineer.
