American guitarist, composer and record producer born on 1 September 1949 in Dayton, Ohio (USA). Most famous as Skip McDonald and as (frontman of) Little Axe. As a manager he has worked with [l94415] and DAS Communications. Using the McDonald pseudonym he has worked very closely with bassist Doug Wimbish and drummer Keith LeBlanc, whom he met in the 1970s. First in Wood, Brass & Steel, from 1979 onwards in the Sugarhill Gang Band (the house band for Sugarhill Records), later still on various [l2409] projects such as Fats Comet and Tackhead.
