George Shampro Mario a.k.a. M.C. Sar was the original frontman of the project M.C. Sar & The Real McCoy (Real McCoy) during the project's early days under ZYX Records (1990-1992). Unbeknownst to the public at the time, Mario was in-fact a lip-sync artist that had been hired to play the M.C. Sar character. During his 2 years as the frontman of the project, Mario mimed the rap vocals of German rapper Olaf Jeglitza (O-Jay) for live performances and the music video for It's On You, the project's second major hit. When the production team (Freshline) moved to Hansa Records (BMG Berlin) in 1993, Mario was removed from the project and Jeglitza was promoted to the frontman/rapper role under his own music alias O-Jay. Despite Mario's departure, the name M.C. Sar remained a part of the project name until 1995.
