Multi-instrumentalist, composer and arranger in Baltimore, Maryland. Finnell specializes in trumpet, lap steel and keyboards. He has been a member of the group All Mighty Senators since 1990 and toured with Thievery Corporation from 2005 to 2015. He worked as an arranger and recording assistant for Severn Records from 2006 to 2010.
