He wrote the memoire: Art, Rock, and Revolution. The Story of Mia Zapata and The GIts. (Feralhouse Books, 2024).
He has a Masters Degree from University of Washington in Clinical Social Work and incorporates group drumming and music into a group therapy practice in San Francisco, CA.
