The Henry Threadgill Sextet (actually a septet; two drummers were counted as a single percussion unit) were a jazz ensemble formed In the early 1980s by Henry Threadgill. The group recorded three albums on the [l46606] label and three albums on the [l3469] label. The [l3469] album Easily Slip Into Another World was recorded by the Sextett, but released as by Henry Threadgill.
