Australian Jazz writer & critic. Was the Sydney Morning Herald's inaugural jazz critic from 1980-1983, then jazz critic with The Australian newspaper from 1983-1988. From 1980-1986 he published and edited the Australian Jazz Magazine. From 1983-2002 he was the CEO of the Jazz Co-ordination Association of NSW, and held the position of National Jazz Development Officer.
