Swedish composer and speech therapist, born April 4, 1941 in Norrköping.

He is self-taught as a composer but has taken composition lessons for Nils Eriksson and Daniel Börtz. He made his debut as a composer in 1975 and is active in Norrköping, where he has collaborated with the Norrköping Symphony Orchestra on several occasions. His son Jonas Franke-Blom, is also a composer.
