Trombone player (born April 2nd 1969)

Andy Bruce is a Grammy nominated recording artist hailing from Scotland. He moved to The Netherlands in 1992 where he studied trombone at the Hilversum conservatory. Andy is a proven, versatile musician, with more than 25 years experience in playing across many genres and settings: equally at home performing aloft a circus tent in Freiburg, Germany, or playing film music at the San Francisco Jazz Festival.

Andy was a member of the world-renowned Willem Breuker Kollektief with whom he made several recordings and toured the globe. He has also recorded and toured with the Metropole Orchestra, the Beau Hunks, and the Jazz Orchestra of the Concertgebouw.
