Son of Fred Rose.
He join his father at [l268576] in 1945, becoming president of the publishing company in 1954, year of Fred Rose’s death. He was one of the key manager of Country Music Association (CMA), American Society of Composers, Authors, and Publishers (ASCAP) and the Music Publishers Association. Inductee in the Country Music Hall of Fame in 1986.
