English comedian, actor and writer. Reached number 1 in the UK in 1986 with his co-stars from the TV series The Young Ones and Cliff Richard with an offbeat version of Living Doll. Also appeared in the spoof rock band Bad News as Colin Grigson.
Mayall had a long-term relationship with Lise Mayer.
