Ernie Maresca


US vocal group.
1958, in the Bronx, NY, Guy Villari, Sal Cuomo, Chuck Fassert and Ernie Maresca started as The Monterays. Signed on Seville Records, they changed their name to The Desires and recorded the sides I Ask You / Story Of Love but the label didn’t issue them until 1962.
After Ernie Maresca left, they changed their name again for The Regents.
