He stems out from the significant musical family, his grandfather ( Rudolf Lisý ) was a Solotrumpet player and his father ( Jaroslav Lisý ) a Solotrombone player of the Czech Philharmonic. He graduated from the Prague Conservatory and the Academy of Musical Arts in Prague. Already during his studies he was engaged with the State Opera Prague, where he remainded till 1989. At present he is the member of the Czech Radio Symphony Orchestra.
